Your Bible has 73 books. Most guides cover 66.
Most Bible study guides are written for Protestant Bibles, which contain 66 books. The Catholic Bible contains 73.
That means seven books, Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, 1 Maccabees and 2 Maccabees, are simply missing from the guide you would otherwise buy.
The Catholic Bible Companion covers all 73, one clear page each, in the order you find them in your Bible. No program to follow, no homework. Open it to the book you are about to read, spend a few minutes, and start reading already knowing what it is about.
Read one page. Understand the book.
What you should know
Before you order.
Is this a Bible?
No. It is a printed companion guide that sits next to your Bible. Each of the 73 books gets one page explaining who wrote it, when, what it is about and why it matters, so the Bible you already own becomes easier to read.
Which Bible does it work with?
Any Catholic Bible, whatever the translation: the NABRE, the RSV-CE, the Douay-Rheims, or the Bible you received at your Confirmation.
When will it arrive?
Orders are dispatched within 48 hours. Delivery takes 10 to 20 business days, with tracking sent by email. We ship to the United States only.
What if it isn't for me?
You have 90 days to send it back for a full refund. Write to contact@faithethiopica.com and we handle it.
